Oil Leaks

Oil leaks from transformers not only risk the environment but also expose transformers to unscheduled failure. Leaks can occur due to ageing gaskets that need replacing through to corrosion on the structure. Equally, valves and damaged components such as cracked bushings  can lead to oil leaks.

Gaskets can be changed and components repairs or replaced. Other solutions such as the application of Devcon or Belzona patch repair solutions can also solve immediate problems, especially when outages or shutdowns for the transformer are difficult or a long time in the future.
