All gaskets can leak, particularly when they are old and compressed. If leaks are allowed to continue there is a danger that oil levels may fall causing protection devices to operate or faults to occur. In addition the environmental impact can be damaging. Rosh Engineering are equipped to replace gaskets on all sizes and makes of transformer. If replacing gaskets is not operationally possible, some leaks can be sealed using DevconŽ leak repair kit. The specially formulated kit can bond against even small flowing leaks in emergency circumstances. The Devcon product can also be supplied by Rosh for stock in case of emergencies.
